Funny Cuts Funny Cuts was launched by Trapps Holmes and ran from 12th July 1890 to 10th November 1908, a total of 958 issues. During it's lifetime it absorbed the Halfpenny Comic and The Worlds Comic before merging with Smiles to become Funny Cuts the Boy's Companion. Hamilton wrote hundreds of stories for this publication using his own name and a number of pen names. Details can be found on the table below. The table below has been created using information gleaned from the Hamilton Bibliography and my thanks go to Allan S and John L for sharing it. Some explanation of the colour coding is required. Stories highlighted salmon pink are reprints, yellow are anonymous but likely Hamilton stories not yet verified and gold are anonymous but possible Hamilton stories. |
